Collection: Pet Friendly

Dog- and cat-friendly plants for your Arizona yard — curated against the ASPCA's toxic-plant database for dogs and cats. We've removed species listed by ASPCA Animal Poison Control (aloes, yuccas, lavender, birds of paradise, stone fruits, boxwood, and others), so what's left is a landscape palette that's safe even for curious pets.

A few honest caveats: any plant can cause mild GI upset if a pet eats a large amount, and some plants here have sharp spines or thorns (a mechanical hazard rather than a toxicity one). Our pet-friendly designation is based on ASPCA non-toxic listings; if your pet has a known sensitivity or if you keep livestock or horses, call your vet or the ASPCA Poison Control hotline at (888) 426-4435 before planting.
